5 Keys To Make Electrical Installation Condition Report

5 keys to make a good Installation condition report of facilities
Many communities and companies want to know the status of their facilities (gas, electricity, PCI, air conditioning, etc.) and if they do not comply with the regulations or are not in the desired conditions, the report will collect these deficiencies, as required by the regulations and the ordinance (if applicable), as well as proposals for improvement of the electrical installation reports are given below.
1: Preparation of technical data sheets, data collection and photographic reports.
To be more effective when collecting the data of the installation that we are going to review, it is advisable to prepare some technical sheets where the main data of the same are collected and then we will use to complete our report.
The data collection of the facilities will be done by compiling all the necessary documentation to obtain a detailed technical diagnosis of it. The fact sheets are a great help for this.
It is always advisable to make a photographic report of the installation we are reviewing (a picture is worth a thousand words). Our technical report will have an annex that includes the photographs we have taken during the course of our visit.
2: Description of the technical situation of the existing installation.
With the data collection we have done, we determine how the installation is located and this is reflected in our technical report.
3: Applicable Regulations
We will indicate in this section what regulations are applied in the installation. We will generally rely on CTE, RITE, etc.
But in addition, it will always be necessary to take into account what the ordinance of each municipality indicates, since, although some exceptions are indicated by the regulations, they are not always allowed by the particular ordinance of each community.
4: Conclusions
Depending on how the installation is carried out, we will conclude whether or not it complies with current regulations and with municipal ordinances. If we comply, our report would end at this point.
5: Performance for future changes
When the standards are not met or future modifications to the installation are planned, we will propose the best solution for this. In this section we will indicate what should be done and how to proceed to reach the most advantageous solution.
