Points Examined For Electrical Installation Certificate

An electrical installation now needs certification to know if the devices of the installation if the components comply with the rules prescribed by NF C 15-100 in particular.
Counsel Body
During this verification, the Counsel (National Committee for the Safety of Electricity Users) then submits a report (after control) giving information on the status of the facility to allow the owner to adapt his facility to ensure occupant safety and of course the one in the house.
This report is valid for 25 years provided that no modification or extension is made to the electrical installation.
It is important to know that any energy distributor such as EDF may require electrical certification to turn on the installation in question; In this certificate there is an official form that will be issued against payment and that a technician will complete and then send to the Counsel.
Then, this organization will verify the compliance of the installation in accordance with the regulations and regulations in force. In general, the control of the electrical installation can be carried out within 3 weeks after receiving the certification form: the Counsel issues a certificate of conformity or offers to make modifications and wait for a counter visit
But what are the particular points examined to obtain this certification?
Several points are observed, because each one refers to a crucial safety point both in terms of the general electrical system and for the protection of people and property; we find successively the control of the value of the so-called dispersion resistance, then the measurement of the value of the insulation level, the execution of the electrical installation that must comply with the diagrams, but also a verification of the status of the equipment protection measures electrical against possible electric shocks and certification of suitability between protection devices in case of over current.
