As the owner, a PAT test is often required on the property every year. This will verify that the appliances are safe to use. We provide a comprehensive electrical testing service for up to 10 electrical items.

7: Items with plug
As a landlord, you may also require an electrical certificate for the hard wiring of the property. This is known as the Electrical Installation Condition Report (EICR). This is a more complete report that analyzes hard wiring, fuse board, grounding arrangements, sockets and switches. These are recommended every 5 years for rental properties.
