Procedure to request an electrical safety certificate
The easiest way to obtain your Counsel Electric is to ask the electrician in charge of the electrical installation of your home to request it from the National Committee for the Safety of Electricity Users.
That said, you can request your Counsel Electric installation certificate yourself online at the committee's website. Be sure to choose the color in the way that suits you. Fill it directly online and pay the corresponding amount (secure payment by bank card).
If you prefer, you can request your certificate of electrical compliance in paper format that the installer must complete by hand and then return it by mail (possibility of payment by check or money order).
Meeting with the installer and obtaining the electrical Counsel.
Do you have your electric Counsel? Have you taken the time to read the instructions for use on your form to find out what fields you should complete, those that were reserved for your electrician and the Counsel? All you have to do is wait for D-day, the completion of your electrical installation.
Once the latter is finished, the technician should check the boxes that he preferred to leave empty to avoid mistakes. At the bottom of the electric Counsel, you must indicate the date of your visit and place your signature. Therefore, it certifies that your electrical system complies with current safety standards. Then you just have to send your certificate to the regional address of Counsel on the site.
If your installation meets the requirements, if the inspector ordered by the Counsel did not detect any anomaly during his visit and if he made the corresponding payments, the Counsel places his visa on his certificate. You will then receive your Counsel Electric by mail if you have opted for the paper format, or you can download the document from your personal space if you have chosen the electronic format.
It is good to know: you must attach a location plan to your document so that the inspector in charge of the visit can easily locate the location of your accommodation. If the power of your meter is greater than 36 k VA, the technician must attach the technical file for installation to the certificate. Home
